To reopen their previously mothballed underground hydraulic coal mine, Solid Energy drove underground roadways, procured and installed coal mine infrastructure for a hydraulic mine including pit bottom screening and pumping systems, surface screening, high voltage substation relocation, haul road upgrade, extensive coal processing plant changes, underground roadways and services and conveyor systems.

According to the CEO, this was the first project at the mine to come in on time and under budget. The project cost $45M.
